Intuition-6 Series water treatment controllers offer a collection of sensors and powerful built-in algorithms for control of chemical metering pumps and valves in a broad range of water treatment applications. A universal sensor input provides extraordinary flexibility, so the same controller can be used with almost any type of sensor needed, with six relay control outputs, six virtual inputs and six virtual outputs in an economical wall-mount package.

On/Off set point, time proportional, pulse proportional (with pulse solid state opto outputs), PID (with pulse solid state opto outputs), Lead/Lag of up to 6 relays, dual set point, timer, bleed or feed based on a water contactor or paddlewheel flow meter input, feed and bleed, feed and bleed with lockout, feed as a percent of bleed, feed as a percent of elapsed time, daily/weekly/2-week/4-week biocide timers with pre-bleed and post-add lockout of bleed, intermittent sampling for boilers with proportional blowdown on a trapped sample, always on unless interlocked, probe wash timer, spike to alternate set point on a timed basis, flow meter ratio, counter timer, dual switch, and diagnostic alarm.

- The USB port allows software upgrade, saving all set points from one controller to a USB flash disk for import into another Intuition-6 controller, and data logging of sensor readings and relay activation events.
- The Ethernet option allows emailing of datalog files in CSV format and alarms to up to eight email addresses, and remote access via a PC connected directly, via a local area network, or via the Walchem Fluent account management server.
- Analog outputs are an option card with two isolated outputs for retransmission to a chart recorder, datalogger, PLC or other device, or for linear proportional, flow proportional or PID control.
